Our Experience

Founded in 1998, Sailing Weather Service draws on over 20 years of experience to provide weather consulting and forecast services to sailors, adventurers, and industry. We have assisted participants in hundreds of regattas and adventures worldwide, producing thousands of forecasts for clients engaged in around-the-world races, coastal regattas, renewable energy development and operation, and pursuit of aviation records. In addition to operational forecasting, services include historical weather analyses for yacht design, strategic review, and adventure planning. Meteorologists Chris Bedford, Jennifer Lilly, and Matt Sanders provide custom forecasting and weather training, tailored to users with widely varying backgrounds and interests. Training courses have been provided for competitive sailing teams, yacht clubs, and recreational community groups.
