• August 2008:  Jennifer Lilly helped the US Sailing Team win gold and silver medals during the 2008 games in Qingdao, China.  She provided weather and current forecasting consulting and training, working with the team during training and the pre-games regattas in 2006 and 2007. • June 2008:  Meteorologist Matt Sanders joins Sailing Weather Service.

• November 2006:  Matt Jones joins Sailing Weather Service as our Chief of Meteorological Modeling.

• October 2006:  Sailing Weather Service's Jennifer Lilly named US Sailor of the Week by US Sailing.

• November 2005:  Sailing Weather Service served as Official Meteorologist for the 2005-2006 Volvo Ocean Race, assisting race management in keeping the crews safe and competitive by providing a high-quality weather data service to all seven teams while they were at sea. View the news release.

• October 2004:  Chris Bedford received the President's Award from US Sailing for outstanding meteorological services he provided to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Teams while in Athens and throughout 2004.  View the news release.
