The next tropical cyclone in the Atlantic is a tropical wave over the eastern Atlantic. This wave has a strong probably of becoming a tropical storm in the next few days. Long-term forecasts call for this system to enter into the eastern Caribbean and then begin turning northwest and eventually north-northwest. At the moment it appears this system will miss the US Mainland, however it will be a factor vessels transiting the eastern Caribbean, and western Atlantic between the eastern US coast and Bermuda.
